Frequently Asked Questions
Is a solid wood vanity better for New Zealand bathrooms?
Yes. Solid oak wood, like the Burlington 1000mm, is extremely durable and naturally resistant to moisture, making it ideal for New Zealand bathrooms where humidity can be high. Compared to MDF vanities, solid wood provides greater longevity, strength, and a premium feel, ensuring your investment lasts for years.
Is the Matte Black finish on the Burlington vanity hard to keep clean?
Not at all. The matte black lacquer finish is designed to be low-maintenance. Light dusting or wiping with a damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners to preserve the flawless surface. The finish also complements other bathroom furniture, such as towel cabinets, for a cohesive and stylish look.
Does the Burlington 1000mm vanity come fully assembled?
Yes. The Burlington 1000mm vanity comes fully assembled for your convenience. This means no complicated setup is required — simply place it in your bathroom, connect the plumbing, and you’re ready to go. Its soft-close drawers and pre-fitted knobs are also ready to use out of the box.
Does the vanity cabinet include the basin and benchtop?
Yes. The vanity comes with a ceramic under-mounted basin included at no extra cost. The benchtop is integrated with the basin, so you don’t need to purchase separate tops.
Please note that taps, mirrors, and accessories are not included, but we can provide guidance if you need matching pieces; feel free to contact us.
What is the warranty on the Burlington Hampton Series vanities?
The Burlington 1000mm vanity comes with a comprehensive 5-year warranty, covering workmanship and finishes. This ensures long-term peace of mind, whether for everyday use or in a high-humidity environment like a New Zealand bathroom.
